Room Types
The twenty-four luxury ensuite rooms at Murella Living are individually designed. Their commonalities are parquet of real wood, furnishings made of solid wood, and artisanal renditions of Gozo’s classical sights and traditional motifs – there creations are splayed across one of the walls in each room, and either take the form of murals that portray some of Gozo’s quintessential sights or panels of woodwork or wood-carvings that depict traditional elements of Gozo in stylised form.
Suite
The most prominent element of this room was inspired by the traditional patterned Maltese tile that is now undoubtedly the unique part of the local visual, architectural identity
.
The shape adorning the feature wall was inspired by these colourful, patterned tiles that are practically a signature of every old Maltese and Gozitan house, immediately discernible and identifiable through a particular palette of colours and geometric shapes.
The beautiful, irregular pattern of the headboard set in the frame of the dark timber adds visual interest to this warm and inviting interior.
Deluxe Double
The main feature of this grand and comfortable suite is the wall adorned by the elegant façade of the Basilica of the Visitation in the quaint village of Għarb. This parish church can be found in the picturesque village square viewed by many as quintessentially Gozitan. Elegant vintage furniture pieces further enrich the theme that celebrates the old charm of Gozo.

A luxurious soaking bath was strategically placed in the room to allow the guests to unwind and relax while enjoying this striking interior. The light pendants spread beautifully warm light and enchanting shadows that can further aid the guests in drifting into deep relaxation. Beautiful oak flooring enhances the feeling of warmth and comfort in this spacious suite.

Superior Double

.
Standard Double
The feature wall in this room depict the hand painted renditions of the Nadur Parish Church. Following this theme the opulent gold headbord frame and luxurious crimson red fabric as well as the dark oversized frame and fabric with purple and burgundy patterns are reminiscent of the ornaments used to adorn Gozitan churches during the ‘Festa’ celebrations. They are organised yearly to commemorate the parish’s patron saint or titular
.
The dark wooden cabinets celebrate the woodworking craft still well developed and passed on from generation to generation in the Island of Gozo.
Twin Room
This room though neutral in colour is rich in ornaments presented on walls, cabinet finishes and other interior elements.

On the feature wall one can admire an impressive mural depicting intertwined marine ropes. The limed cabinets were faced with an interesting geometrical pattern made of wood in two different shades.
